This captures a digital image of every document at the earliest possible point, ensuring that the document transport feeds continuously at its highest speed. All keyed data entry, item correction and balancing then uses images rather than physical documents. This is both faster and less stressful for the operators. Several correction and key entry operators can be working simultaneously using a network of inexpensive PC workstations and avoiding the bottleneck of a single machine operator.
